Croatian National Tourist Board wrote in press article "The Mali Lošinj auto-camp Poljana, operating as part of the company Uvala Poljana from Mali Lošinj is the recipient of the prestigious “Yellow table”, a special award presented to it by the auto-club ADAC.
This award is presented on the basis of quality sanitary facilities, the overall form of the camp, subdivision of plots and accommodation units and in actuality represents the highest award that ADAC’s inspection presents to camps throughout Europe.
For users of camps the awards represents an authentic recommendation and credibility, however, it is not permanent so that the camp will have to keep up efforts for constant improvements and investment so as to maintain the image of one of the best quality camps and to remain on the specially offered ADAC brochure. The award was simultaneously also received by two other Croatian camps but these were awarded by a Dutch camping guide, ANWB which is second in size of European camping guides.
Their experts presented the camp in Zaton near Nin, a town not far from Zadar, with the award “Camp of the year 2005” which is only awarded to six camps in Europe annually and which also represents a high quality of offer, while the camp Bijela uvala in the Istrian city of Porec was presented an award for the best formed camp.
